Which is Better for Argentina, Obama or McCain?

Obama Beats McCain In Argentina Poll.001

A recent poll published in The Argentine Post reveals that the majority of Argentineans prefer Obama over McCain for the next United States president.

Poliarquia, the consulting firm that led the survey clearly states that, “Barak Obama is the preferred candidate among Argentines.” Of the poll, Obama supporters made up 64%, while 19% supported McCain, and the other 17% remained uncertain.

McCain has shown little interest in Latin American countries, while Obama has expressed his desire in investing to help eradicate the severe poverty felt throughout Latin America.

Obama’s tax reforms would mean less investing by the wealthy in Argentina, but the possibility of more middle class vacationers being able to afford a trip to Argentina. McCain, on the other hand, proposes the reduction of tax burdens, which would enable more investment in Argentina.

The most important thing right now is to see a stabilizing of the United States economy, which directly affects Argentina’s tourism industry. Thankfully, Argentina sees a lot of visitors from Europe and other countries, making it not as dependent on a booming U.S. economy as other countries such as Panama and Costa Rica.

Who do you think is the better choice for the next United States President as far as Argentina is concerned?
