If you haven’t rented a vehicle for getting around Mendoza, then you are limited to the public transportation system of the city. Public transportation 
in Mendoza is made up of taxis (the most expensive, most convenient, and most comfortable), and two types of buses: city buses and trolleybuses.
The trolleybuses are more comfortable than the city buses, but they are slower and not as numerous as the city buses. They also do not cover as much ground as the city buses do; the city bus network is much more expansive. Trolley buses are also slightly cheaper than the city buses.
The bus terminal for non-city buses (the ones transiting to other parts of the country) is located to the east of the Mendoza City Center and is called Terminal del Sol.
