The Colectivos has stops every two or 3 blocks, and most of the lines Inside buenos aires city busoperate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the late night and early morning buses run less frequently.

In addition to the Colectivos line there is another bus line called “Diferencial.” These lines are similar to the regular lines in that they run the same routes, with the same number and the same color, the only difference is that they are express buses. This means they stop less, and they are nearly double the price.

One Response to “City Buses in Buenos Aires”

  1. Jerry G. says:

The screeching, ear-piecing noice from Buenos Aires’ will jolt you out of bed at all hours. There is no limit to how much they can pollute or how many decibels they can emit. Ive never seen anything this bad. Entire streets are full of swirling clouds of fumes. One bus alone can white out a street. Today a bus went by puerto madero that youd have to travel to Africa to see anything that bad.

If you want to hear buses that are as loud as jet airplanes taking off, come to BA. If you want to choke on fumes all day, have your apt. coated in soot, and spend your day with eyes burning, come to BA.
